Creating a world of wonder

The Secret Garden Theatre is an annual invitation-only outdoor movie event set in a beautiful garden, bringing families together to celebrate classic films with an unforgettable night under the stars. They came to Campfire to create a brand kit and invitation system that could make the experience feel even more magical.

We imagined an enchanting world of woodland creatures enjoying the cinema: a rabbit eating popcorn, a fox wrapped in a film strip scarf, an owl with film-reel eyes. The characters became the foundation for a flexible visual system that could evolve with each year’s featured film, extending across tickets, event graphics, and custom invitations.

For this year’s screening of the 1971 classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, we leaned into the film’s sense of wonder with rich purple crushed velvet and gold foil details. The result was more than an event identity—it was an invitation to step into a world of pure imagination.
